To truly understand this side of the country, you have to hit the road. Western Australia is a place defined by its immense scale, where a single day of driving can take you from bustling urban culture to complete, silent isolation in the wilderness. It is a region of dramatic contrasts, where world-class wineries sit just down the road from ancient forests. This page is a personal collection of the paths that challenged me, the vistas that stopped me in my tracks, and the destinations proving the best journeys happen far beyond the boundaries of the city.
The capital city where my own journey across the state always begins, filled with my favorite spots, local lookouts, and beaches around the metropolitan area.
A historic town on the south coast where dramatic granite cliffs meet a roaring ocean, holding the notes and photos from exploring the rugged edges of the coastline.
A massive region of towering forests, open farmlands, and hidden beach camps, sharing the full and unfiltered day by day road log of exactly what happened when we headed down south.
Every map I draw and every photo I share is simply a reflection of the moments that made me feel completely free. The road is always out there waiting, and the best way to see it is simply to start moving.
